2006-07-15 [Bookwyrm]: XD That's not good. I've done that too though....it irritates me...
2006-07-16 [kittykittykitty]: Especially if you have about 10 tabs open :P haha... Then you get stressed out, which doesn't help with the involuntary twitching.... >_>
2006-07-16 [Bookwyrm]: ::nods:: Agreed...entir

2006-07-18 [Bookwyrm]: ::tackles and hugs zoloft:: I want a hug too!!
2006-07-18 [kittykittykitty]: Yay! You can have hugs for missing me too ^^ *hugs [zoloftzantac]* I think [DRACE] started another hugfest ^____^ *hugs [Bookwyrm]*
2006-07-18 [DRACE]: *grins* my work is done here, *fades away, like smoke in the wind*
2006-07-18 [Bookwyrm]: YAY! I got a hug from the kitty!! ::hugs kitty's feet::
2006-07-18 [kittykittykitty]: My feets! *giggles* :P *steals [Bookwyrm]'s shoes and tickles her feet* :O
2006-07-18 [Bookwyrm]: ::le gasp!:: Fiend! Scoundrel! ::can't breathe for laughing...but manages to tickle kitty in retaliation:: Mwuahahaha!
2006-07-18 [kittykittykitty]: *holds onto [Bookwyrm] so she can't escape the tickling while rolling around laughing herself* >:D Tickling is fun! XD
2006-07-18 [Bookwyrm]: XD I usually kick people that tickle me (reflex I inherited from my mom XD) but I won't kick you...on purpose. XD ::tickles back gasping for breath::
2006-07-18 [kittykittykitty]: I usually completely spozz out and flail lots.... that always makes it funnier, though XD *wiggles your toes*
2006-07-18 [Bookwyrm]: XD Yay for spazzing! NOOOOO! NOT MY TOES!! ::falls over helpless::
2006-07-18 [kittykittykitty]: :O Yes the toes! *wiggle wiggle* :P

2006-07-19 [Bookwyrm]: Well this little Witch had to get some rest considering she's radioactive mister. :P She's also moody, in pain, and irritable - so she had to take a break from the computer 'cause the battery was getting to hot and making her stomach hurt.

2006-07-19 [Bookwyrm]: And yes it would be helpful, if you wouldn't mind, to explain more. ^-^
2006-08-08 [Bookwyrm]: o_o Can someone tell me what a "foot ringtone" is? ::looks at advertisements to the right of page...::
2006-08-11 [kittykittykitty]: A foot ringtone? XD And you didn't click it? It might never show that ad again ;_;
The ads it's giving me don't sound so interesting...
2006-08-11 [Bookwyrm]: XD Well I don't make a habit of clicking on advertisements considering I have no job to finance me buying anything. I probably should've clicked it out of curiosity though! ::remembers to look for it henceforth:: Oh that's funny. The guy I know in the Navy is stationed in Japan. XD And I think it's rare that people intentionally click on the links...I've scrolled down and accidently hit one that I closed as soon as the little "x" popped up. XD
2006-08-12 [zoloftzantac]: Don't say that so loud ... [Hedda] wants us to click on them sometimes :p
2006-08-12 [Bookwyrm]: XD Well I will click on them sometimes. Like if I see the foot ringtone thing again...XD
2006-08-12 [Bookwyrm]: ::giggles:: Oh yes that has tons to do with this wiki...Did you know that some of these links are porn sites?! I just clicked on one and it took me to a porn site! T_T ::has been scarred::
2006-08-12 [Bookwyrm]: T_T I feel really violated right now. I thought I was going to vomit for a moment...
2006-08-12 [Bookwyrm]: Yeah I have to agree...I think I'm going to ask about that...that...
2006-08-12 [¤♫♪Ģєήίε♫♪¤]: I keep getting ads for swords and sleep medicine.
2006-08-12 [Bookwyrm]: ::nods:: The ad was something about tickling or some sort of "tickle" site. I don't know what exactly, but I clicked to see what it was and there was no denying it was porn as it was very graphic at the top of the page. :( I don't think that should be linked to somewhere like this. I know Elfpack is a bit more liberal than Elftown, but that's too far...I'm hoping it's just an error, because I'm definitely too young to be looking at that and there are much younger members than me that could easily find their way there. The ad gave no warning of it being a porn site either...
2006-08-12 [Bookwyrm]: Yes, for nudity on houses, and pornographics images are not allowed on houses (I'm not sure about wikis for sure, the rules are a bit unclear there). But this was an ad, so I wasn't sure where to take it up. I asked Jon and he said to go to the forums. I made a post requesting something be done about it...
2006-08-12 [Bookwyrm]: I agree entirely. :(
2006-08-14 [zoloftzantac]: google makes the ads, but maybe [Hedda] can do something about which ads they can make
I just saw this ad on this page http://www.tri
2006-08-14 [Bookwyrm]: ::nods:: Yeah, he said that he could block particular websites from being shown on the ads, so he said he'd block the one I told him about. ^__^
2006-08-15 [kittykittykitty]: I'm so happy he didn't block this "Chat with Millions of Men" advert, though. I don't know what I'd do without these ads for chat and dating services :D
2006-08-15 [Bookwyrm]: XD Wooo! I always get chat with women adverts...:( I've got nothing wrong with homosexuality, but why does my laptop assume that I'm lesbian?
2006-08-15 [kittykittykitty]: Or maybe they just assume you are male :P I think the majority of internet users are
2006-08-15 [Bookwyrm]: ::le gaspage:: I feel so wronged! T___T
2006-08-15 [Bookwyrm]: Yeah see right there "Meet Ladies to Love"...not cool...::smack
2006-08-15 [¤♫♪Ģєήίε♫♪¤]: :( Still sleep medicine for me. But my computer is right. I need sleep. @_@
2006-08-15 [Bookwyrm]: I do too. I didn't sleep last night at all. T__T My mind was a-working through the night.
2006-08-15 [¤♫♪Ģєήίε♫♪¤]: :( *hugs*
2006-08-15 [Bookwyrm]: ::hugs back:: It's okay. Hopefully I'll be getting some stuff to help me sleep soon. ^__^
2006-08-15 [¤♫♪Ģєήίε♫♪¤]: ^^ That's good.

True Love
There is love, and then there is Love.
You love your family, but not your neighbor.
You love your parents, but not others' parents.
You love your religion, but not all religions - some you even dislike.
You love your country, but not all countries.
This is not true but rather limited love.
Transformation of limited love into Divine Love is the goal of spirituality.

2006-12-09 [Bookwyrm]: It's sad how true that statement is...:(
2006-12-09 [zoloftzantac]: I know Traci, it is sad, but Amma doesn't say this to make us sad, she wants to show us the path to spiritual growth all the while offering her own life as our inspiration. Practice love :)

Are you ever going to respond to my message, Z?
2006-12-15 [zoloftzantac]: uhh ... did you message me?
2006-12-15 [Bookwyrm]: ::grins:: Yes. I was hoping you'd post somewhere so I could ask you on a board...I figured you checked the wikis more often. ;)
2006-12-15 [zoloftzantac]: heh, I have some unread messages from a long time ago, I leave them unread on purpose, but then I don't always notice when I get a new one :S
2006-12-15 [Bookwyrm]: Mmmmhmm...I've noticed it usually takes you a few days to notice I've sent you a message. XD

2007-02-09 [zoloftzantac]: The wiki was [~*Astarte*~]'s good idea, I like what she has done with the place ;)
2007-02-09 [shinobi14]: Oh, along with the I Hate Hate wiki of course. They r both nice places to meet people who think like you... Especially if you're a hippy like me. ^_^
2007-02-10 [zoloftzantac]: heh i hate hate is mine, there are like sister wiki pages though ;) Things tend to be nicer here, sometimes debate turns into a fight over there by I try to moderate it :)
2007-02-10 [shinobi14]: Ahhh... Sorry to hear it.
You're a nice guy, to make a wiki like that.
Did you guys make them up together, or did you get the idea from one of them?
...
Dont know why im so curious. ^_^
2007-02-10 [zoloftzantac]: heh, I'll tell you the story. i hate hate came first. I made it as a responce to something someone told me. I was trying to talk about hate on the wiki page called i hate homosexuality. That person told me not to come back to that wiki and they said "I hate peopple who hate hate. So, I made that wiki as a direct answer to that.
[~*Astarte*~] was my real life next door neighbor at the time that she had the good idea to have a space that was more pro-love vs anti-hate ^__^
2007-02-10 [shinobi14]: Ahhhh... and thus, it became a legend. LOL.
Hehehe... hating people who hate hate? This person must have been driven by hate... not healthy. =/
Still, twas a good idea on both parts (you and [~*Astarte*~])
^_^
2007-02-10 [shinobi14]: Ive added my quote up there ^
Hope no-one minds...
2007-02-16 [~*Astarte*~]: [zoloftzantac] and [shinobi14] thank you both for your sweet comments! ^_^ [shinobi14] thank you for adding your quote! Everyone here is welcome to co-create this page of love! *Goes to bed singing, "What the world needs now is love sweet love..."* ^_^
2007-02-16 [shinobi14]: LOL you're welcome, [~*Astarte*~]. But i thought i was alone. I thought i was the only one who thought like this. I guess i'm not. XD (happy now)
2007-02-16 [shinobi14]: OK, i may have gone a bit overboard. It is my 2nd favorite quote. Sorry if its a bit too long, people. Take it down if it's a nuisance. X
2007-02-16 [kittykittykitty]: Awww I like it ^-^ I'm sure nobody will mind that it's a little longer than the others :D
2007-02-16 [shinobi14]: Thanks kitty. XD
2007-02-16 [catelf]: I would like the quote if it didn't remind me so much of a song I used to sing at school - 'love is something if you give it away... give it away... give it away... love is something if you give it away, you end up having more!'
Ouch. But the quote is nice. And rather more poetic.
2007-02-16 [shinobi14]: thankyou. XD
2007-02-18 [zoloftzantac]: heh, your school song reminds me of this
http://www.you
2007-02-18 [shinobi14]: ha! LOL
ZZ, you so crazy XP
2007-02-18 [zoloftzantac]: give it away now! ;)
2007-02-18 [shinobi14]: I mean, the hair would give it away anyway... XP
(only joking, i wish i had hair like yours)
But still you are pretty crazy... Granted that only crazy people have badges (yes, ive notcied) apart from [Ringbearer]...
2007-02-18 [zoloftzantac]: lol
2007-02-18 [shinobi14]: OMG!!! I know what song [catelf] is going on about ^_^
I used to sing that song in primary school XD

2007-07-12 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: hey jen...take a look through my diary some time if you like poems.
2007-07-12 [~*Astarte*~]: My hope is that you speak it to your mate as often as your heart reminds you to ... for so often in our busy lives, we forget to say those things that mean the most to us to those in our lives that mean the most to us ... Blessings to you and your mate
2007-07-12 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: *smiles* i tell her every day who much she means to me. *bows* thank you.
2007-07-12 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: well, i must be off for the night *waves* have a good night and sleep well.
2007-07-12 [~*Astarte*~]: Then you have learned at a young age how important it is to remind those we love how much they mean to us. You, your mate and little one (if I remember correctly, you have a little one) have a good night, too.
2007-07-12 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: *smiles and nods* two little ones and twins on the way. i had to learn or risk losing the one i love most again...i was not always a good man, and i try to attone for my behaviors in the past...but i will always remember them so i may remember what the consequences were.
2007-07-13 [~*Astarte*~]: Wow! Four young ones! You will be busy ... as will their mommy! We have all made mistakes in our pasts - not one of us has a slate that hasn't been written on ... the key is to learn from those things we might have done to hurt ourselves and/or others, forgive ourselves (that can be a big one), make amends where called for and move forward ...
2007-07-14 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: *laughs* at least my boys are smart and learn quickly...as for the twins, well thank gods they're quiet ones! *nods* quite true about the past, although i dont think i will be able to forgive myself for what i did back then though i change myself for the better.
2007-07-14 [~*Astarte*~]: If the one you wronged has forgiven you, why is it you have the need to hold on to the attachment of not forgiving yourself? Punishing yourself over and over again is not productive, and not only hurts you, but believe it or not, it hurts the one you might have wronged, too. Just some food for thought spoken by someone who has had a *very* difficult time forgiving herself for something she did many years ago. You know in life, invariably we inadvertently hurt people - both people we love and people in general. That's just being human. It is when one intentionally and with malice and forethought hurts someone ... that's when there is a big problem. My sense of you and what you did falls into the first category - not the second. Remember you are human, and bound to make mistakes - as long as you learn from your mistakes, they are no longer mistakes, but lessons learned.
2007-07-14 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: *nods* ill take that into concideration. thanks..but i dont thimnk il be able to for a long time.
2007-08-13 [shinobi14]: *late comment* That, Lyon, is a lovely poem. =] Ill remember that one.

2007-08-16 [Bookwyrm]: I always knew it. It's just taken me some time to remember. ^_~ I'm betting it's the same for you.
2007-08-16 [shinobi14]: Maybe we learn it as kids.. =] With all the Disney films you see in the youth teaching you about love, i think it is programmed into us. ^__^ So you may be right.

2007-11-02 [shinobi14]: Its the only thing that there's just too little of... =]
Not if we have anything to do with it!
2007-11-04 [~*Astarte*~]: I totally agree ... there most certainly is not enough love in this world we live in. I wonder though ... even if one truly loves - unconditionall
2007-11-04 [zoloftzantac]: Oh, I think this is a fine place to ask questions. Loving is important, but it isn't enough by itself, we need to try to actually spread love to others instead of just giving it to them, if you know what I mean
2007-11-04 [~*Astarte*~]: Yes, I agree, this is a fine place to ask questions. If you reread my statement, I was referring to this forum not being the proper place for my sounding a bit pessimistic - my statement had nothing to do with asking questions. I don't believe you "give" love to someone ... I believe you "show" them through words, actions, deeds, acts of kindness ... I remember reading a statement from a well-known author (whose name escapes me at the moment) - he stated that love is an action, not a feeling ... reminds me of a Chinese Proverb I came across recently. "Words are mere bubbles of water, but deeds are drops of gold."
2007-11-04 [shinobi14]: Ah, i disagree. I believe you can give love. For example, if you do show somebody love through an action or a deed, they will be filled with a loving feeling, and therefore a "giving" process. ^____^
But think people... How can we spread love to all the world? I mean, i try to be a very happy person, to make other people happy. And many other things like that... But how do we do it on a grand scale?
2007-11-05 [~*Astarte*~]: Ah Danny ... start with you! If each and every one of us took the time each day simply to smile more (think about the last time you smiled at a stranger - just because) or for those in relationship (or who are parents) when was the last time you took the time to really look deeply into your partner or child's (or children's) eyes, tell them you love them, and embrace them with such unconditional presence of being you almost (maybe you do) reach a state of euphoria (or for some nirvana)? Really Danny, I believe if you start with you, and I start with me, etc... this will lead to the grander scale. Does this make sense? I hope so, and should have prefaced by reminding that I am still healing from a head trauma (car accident) June 2007.
I understand what you say when you say you can give love - but then to me it makes love a "thing." (giving = thing) This way of thinking could just be the way my brain is processing right now ... I'm not sure. If the person you mentioned whom is filled with a loving feeling - that is theirs to own - for really Danny, we cannot make anyone feel anything - feeling is up to each individual. For example: you could say something hurtful to me (which I highly doubt you would do ^_^) - but if you did, my 'feeling(s)' are mine - I choose to feel what I feel - you cannot make me feel what I feel. Are you following me here? Maybe I'm just not explaining very well - which could very well be - doing my best though. ^_^
Speaking of love ... my partner is currently on a business trip in the Middle East and gone for a few weeks ... so my two youngest boys (and my newest addition - a 1/2 black lab, 1/2 whippet 11 month old rescue puppy) have been sleeping in my bed. To me, as a mom, there is nothing more intoxicating than burying my face in the necks of my boys (even my 18-1/2 year old if I tell him I need a "mom" fix!) and smelling their individual smells. *^_^* How is this connected with the above - this is an example of love - pure, simple and completely unconditional ... well, at least to this very proud mama anyway.
2007-11-05 [~*Astarte*~]: Since I'm on a roll (and my meds in the morning make me energetic!) ... the above I wrote regarding smiles, looking into eyes, and adding just simply calling someone (family member, friend, neighbor, etc.) to say hi - or to see if they need anything - this really can be done - and doesn't take much time at all. I am known to call a friend just out of the blue (or send an email or IM or such - but phone call is better) simply to say, "I'm calling just to let you know I'm thinking about you and to remind you that you are loved - by me!" I absolutely love doing this - I can hear the smile, and often times the giggles, and not only have I made a transformative difference for someone else, but for myself as well.
2007-11-05 [shinobi14]: That, my dear, is a very love-filled story. ^__^ I love it!
Okay, starting from the top, and working down. ;) The last time i did those things you mentioned was probably not that long ago. I love to greet strangers in the street, to admire nature, to be thankful for my friends, i give great pleasure in seeing others happy (couples, for example). In fact, just the other day, i went to Chester (a city near me) and went Free Hugging with a few friends. It filled me with that familiar funny feeling. ;) But yes, i agree. If we are all happy, then hopefully we could share the love around the whole world. For, as you probably know, love and happiness is contagious. I love smiling simply because most people smile back. So I don't stop smiling. =D Ever since about February.
Second paragraph: I know what you are trying to say, but in my opinion, you can give such feelings away, such as happiness, love, and others. I know what you mean however, when you say they sound like "things". These are just common English language faults. Not only are "love" and "happiness" feeling, they also happen to be nouns. Which are commonly referred to as "things". - And of course people do not have to feel the way I want them to feel, but in my opinion, moods are contagious. So, if you are feeling loving, then generally people feel more loved. <3
Third and last paragraph: And i have things like that, too. =] I love to watch nature in all of its glory and wonder. The natural beauty makes me filled with an intense happy feeling. I also find this feeling from my dogs, and my very close friends. *sighs* I don't think life would be worth living if I couldn't feel that feeling I get. "Life without love is no life at all" - Self Quote.
I do hope your partner will return safely from his trip. ^____^
2007-11-05 [shinobi14]: And now that Im on a roll, i've just remembered a message I sent to my friend [nevan] the other day. It was:
"You're amazing. Never forget that."
God, i love it. <3 Pure ecstasy to me. XP
2007-11-05 [~*Astarte*~]: Smiles - can you imagine what this world would be like without them? *shudder* There is an elder, High Priestess, in a Dianic Wiccan Community in the general area I live in (she is well-known and published so will leave her name out) ... she just recently started "Hugging Rituals" - because she felt (feels) there are too many people in this world (in this case women) who go without. I think it's such a cool idea! And, could easily be modified to fit any belief system (whether it be Wiccan or not). I did something that filled my heart with such love and joy for an elder, High Priestess, in the Dianic community who passed in August - Shekhinah Mountainwater. I read the journal (online with permission) of the High Priestess who administered her last rites. Included was Shekhinah's last wish ... that she never be forgotten - that the world would not forget her - that our community would not forget her. It came to me like a bolt of lightning - our elders, our High Priestesses, those witches (in this case women) who have come and passed - my Foremothers, should have an altar at every ritual co-created in our community. So I found a beautiful black and white picture of Shekhinah, had it copied onto the best photo paper I could find, found a silver (for protection) frame for it - and sent it along (with very trusted Priestesses) to the Autumn Equinox ritual held in our community on woman-owned land - out in a beautiful area of Sonoma County, CA. As I was told, a beautiful altar was created in her memory (and also in the memories of other elder High Priestesses who have already passed over to the Summerland). One of my dearest coven systers (I LOVE her dearly) ... spoke about Shekhinah, as she was present shortly after Shekhinah's passing, and at the memorial (burial). She shared that the ritual space was filled with such love and joy - just what Shekhinah would have wanted. All of this, simply because I remembered reading what someone had shared about her last wish. See, so it really does start with just you or me or the next person - one person *really* can make a difference. (As an aside, my coven syster, loved the picture so much that she offered to be its caretaker, and has placed it on the altars of several rituals since, including a HUGE Samhain Spiral Dance, and a ritual some of Shekhinah's friends recently held - just because.
Thank you for the safe return wishes - he'll be fine. The areas he is (and will be) in are fairly safe. But thank you - tis sweet of you! ^_^
2007-11-05 [~*Astarte*~]: Oops...! Forgot to respond to last paragraph regarding nature and natural beauty ... it is the biggest high (well, besides the births of my 3 boys!) I could ever imagine - just simply sitting, being, connecting with and feeling the interconnected
2007-11-05 [~*Astarte*~]: If I might borrow your saying, "You're amazing. Never forget that!" ... this goes out to everyone in this forum! We are all amazing! Never forget it!
2007-11-07 [shinobi14]: Here here!! =D
Tee-hee. You sound a lot like me. XP
2007-11-08 [~*Astarte*~]: Maybe that's because I'm English? :p Or just someone who believes in the power of love, positive thinking (although difficult at times for even the most positive of thinkers) and most definitely a believer in the power of one's own ability to create/manifes
2007-11-08 [shinobi14]: I think it is both, but more the latter reason. ^____^
2007-11-09 [~*Astarte*~]: I can agree with that ^___^

What We Are Made Of:
Choose Love
www.dailyom.co
Love is often presented as the opposite of fear, but true love is not opposite anything. True love is far more powerful than any negative emotions, as it is the environment in which all things arise. Negative emotions are like sharks swimming in the ocean of love. All things beautiful and fearful, ugly and kind, powerful and small, come into existence, do their thing, and disappear within the context of this great ocean. At the same time, they are made of the very love in which they swim and can never be separated. We are made of this love and live our whole lives at one with it, whether we know it or not.
It is only the illusion that we are separate from this great love that causes us to believe that choosing anything other than love makes sense or is even possible. In the relative, dualistic world of positive and negative, darkness and light, male and female, we make choices and we learn from them. This is exactly what we are meant to be doing here on earth. Underlying these relative choices, though, is the choice to be conscious of what we are, which is love, or to be unconscious of it. When we choose to be conscious of it, we choose love. We will still exist in the relative world of opposites and choices and cause and effect, and we will need to make our way here, but doing so with an awareness that we are all made of this love will enable us to be more playful, more joyful, more loving and wise, as we make our way. Ultimately, the choices we make will shed light on the love that makes us all one, enabling those who have forgotten to return to the source.
This world makes it easy to forget this great love, which is part of why we are here. We are here to remember and, when we forget to remember again, to choose love.

2008-01-18 [shinobi14]: Oh yes I did! XD Dancing around the Maypole I will be, with ribbons... and spreading teh lurve. XD
2011-08-17 [Stephen]: Dusty comment box is dusty. =P

2011-09-02 [kittykittykitty]: Ohhhh they smell delicious :) Are you a good chef traci? My last few attempts at baking all ended in disaster xD Though it's still fun to do anyway
2011-09-03 [Stephen]: I suddenly get a mental image of a stove on fire and Kitty running around going "Oh noess! Shit, shit, shit!" -chuckles-
2011-09-04 [Bookwyrm]: a) I'm an excellent baker, I don't know how well of a cook I am though. I did make rotini pasta with a shrimp marinara sauce and sauteed mushrooms tonight, though. And the hubby sang praises about it, but I don't cook a lot. XD I'm scared to cook most of the time.
b) OMG. I lol'd.
2011-09-04 [Stephen]: Baking is fun! *glee* I don't like cooking, mostly meat, because I'm always worried I'll over/under cook it and it'll taste horrible/infec
2011-09-04 [Bookwyrm]: LOL Meat isn't too bad if you get used to it. Mainly you want to make sure there's no blood running out of it. I usually have the hubby cook the meat and I cook all the side dishes and stuff. In fact he cooked the shrimp for the pasta tonight, I just cooked everything else. XD
2011-09-04 [Stephen]: Blood is gross. >D
2011-09-05 [Bookwyrm]: When it's in food especially. XD
2011-09-05 [Stephen]: Yar!
2011-10-21 [zoloftzantac]: yay, this wiki isn't sad and lonely <3

I'm glad to see everyone here tho, EP was always my favorite anyways :)
2011-10-21 [Bookwyrm]: That's cause we're the best. :D
2011-11-16 [shinobi14]: Just popping in to say hi. Welcome back ZZ. It has been forever. =]
2012-02-22 [zoloftzantac]: *hugs everyone* crazy how time flys, 3 more months in the blink of an eye. I'm super busy working full time and going to college fulltime, sleeping part time and not much else ;)
2012-02-24 [Stephen]: Haha, yeah, that would be pretty busy. I'm glad to hear you're doing well. :D
